You Are One Great Idea + One Key Contact Away From A….
There have been a couple books I have read that have stated this quote, “You are one great idea and one key contact away from a million dollars.”
I would love to foster a discussion about this in the comments section to see what you think about this quote! It obviously relates to networking in some way and I feel like we could have some interesting discussion.

There are plenty of good ideas out there and plenty of people who have them. You don’t even have to have a “good” idea to make a million dollars. Having one good contact won’t matter to the point of making you rich either.
You need to have a lot of good contacts with influence and resources and know how to execute your idea. Otherwise, everyone with an idea who knows a venture capitalist would be rich.
The book has over simplified the equation and you can never go by an equation to get rich. Otherwise it would be easy.
