15 Ways to Build Relationships During The Winter

My Friend Jason Jacobson of Networking Insight, just wrote a wonderful piece about 15 things you can do to build better relationships with people in the winter time.
I really enjoyed the post and wanted to share it with you.
My favorite one on the list was taking a contact out to a lunch or dinner. I love this one because I am a sucker for good food.
Let me know what you think of the article.

Walk a neighbor’s dog.
Do a grocery store run for a neighbor who doesn’t like driving on snowy roads.
Get help for someone who spun out and landed their car in a ditch.
Yes I’m in Minnesota so I know the burden many people have with winter. It’s the little things you will be remembered for.

Thanks for the heads up on this great article, Scott!
Some good ideas here.
I might add one about reaching out to people in your community who may not have family in town – make sure they have somewhere special to spend Christmas Day (assuming they celebrate). If they’re alone, invite them over!
My husband and I had an open house for Thanksgiving last year and about 25 ’strays’ joined us – it was a wonderful day!!
